Danielle HeadshotDanielle Paletz, Partner

A graduate of Emory University’s Goizueta Business School, Danielle began her career as an auditor for a top accounting firm in Philadelphia. After earning her CPA, she moved to New York City and joined the law firm of Cravath, Swaine & Moore, where she worked in the firm’s financial analysis department. Intrigued by the promise and potential of the Internet, Danielle changed her career in 2000 and began working for a search firm specializing in the placement of Internet and digital media professionals. In 2001 Danielle founded Searchlight, a digital advertising recruitment firm. In 2011, she launched iQuest Partners.

Melissa HeadshotMelissa Baizen, Partner

Melissa Baizen has been recruiting in the digital space since July 2006. She focuses on placing candidates within digital media, advertising, and marketing technology companies, in New York City and nationally. After graduating from Indiana University with a focus on Business and Sociology, Melissa left her Boston roots and moved out to Manhattan to pursue a recruiting career with Searchlight. After nearly five years, Melissa moved with Searchlight’s Co-Founder, Danielle Paletz to launch iQuest Partners in January 2011. Her versatility has led to highly successful placements in high growth, early stage, advertising technology companies.

Jill Edelstein Schecter, VP, Business Development

Jill has worked in the media business for over 18 years. She started her career on the client side at Estée Lauder and then held sales and sales management positions at Wenner Media, Rodale and Condé Nast. While at Condé Nast, Jill spent 10 years in Corporate Sales and was responsible for increasing revenue and creating integrated marketing programs, managing average revenue of $90MM. In this role, she worked with and oversaw 29 brands and guided more than 30 salespeople within the organization. Her knowledge and passion for the media and digital industry, along with her experience, has allowed her to be successful in recruiting top talent for digital media and ad tech companies.
